Local Development Programme Regulations

Beginning in 2005 and continuing to today, the Ministry has been piloting a model of local governance in selected districts. This pilot programme is called the Local Development Programme. In this programme, local assemblies formed from community authorities manage a local budget used for infrastructure development.

Regulations issued by the Ministry of State Administration regulate the establishment and functions of the local assemblies, local procurement and finance proccesses and other regulations regarding the management of these funds. Regulations are available in .zip file packages:
